Role description
We are looking for a Corporate Communication Specialist who will develop and coordinate the company’s communication and operational marketing activities.
The successful candidate will be the internal point of reference for corporate communication and will work closely with the company’s management and with the M&C management of the Group the company belongs to, ensuring consistency between the company’s specific needs, its positioning and the Group communication strategy.
The role also involves coordination with the company’s sales division and constant interaction with internal technical contacts and, where present, with external suppliers and consultants, with the aim of showcasing the company’s expertise, projects, services and identity.
The candidate will contribute to defining content and will manage the marketing plan, oversee the company’s communication channels and ensure the overall consistency of the corporate image, under the direction of the Group Sales Manager.
The role does not involve hands-on graphic work or direct technical development (e.g. brochures, trade fair panels, final artwork or websites), but rather coordination of these activities with external agencies and suppliers. The candidate will be responsible for sending briefs, content and guidelines, managing feedback and checking the quality, timing and consistency of outputs against company objectives.
Main duties
Marketing and communication
Contribute to defining the company’s marketing and communication plan, updating and implementing it in line with company objectives, brand positioning, the priorities set by company management and the guidelines of the Group M&C management. The candidate will therefore contribute to defining objectives, activities, calendar, KPIs, budget and operational roadmaps.
Given the technical-scientific and B2B nature of our market, the role will also cover the tools and channels typical of communication to a specialist audience: organising participation in industry trade fairs and conferences (structural engineering, seismic engineering, infrastructure, structural monitoring, specialist structural software), producing technical-scientific content such as project case studies, white papers and conference materials, and lead generation towards public bodies, infrastructure operators and engineering firms.
The role will contribute to generating new business opportunities, to participation in tenders and to the creation of sales support materials, ensuring maximum consistency between marketing messages and sales activities. The candidate may also work with the sales function on market analysis, supporting the definition, planning and implementation of ASDEA’s growth and positioning strategies.
Content creation and development
Gather information from management, sales, technical staff, project managers and internal contacts, turning it into clear, consistent and valuable content. In particular, the candidate will write, structure or review content for:
- the corporate website;
- the company’s social media channels;
- news and articles;
- sales and institutional materials;
- corporate presentations;
- external communications;
- content for events, trade fairs and company initiatives.
The goal is to make even technical content communicable, while maintaining accuracy, clarity and consistency with the company’s tone of voice and the Group communication guidelines.
Social media management
Oversee the editorial plan of the company’s social media channels, coordinating topics, calendar, content, publishing and monitoring. The candidate will identify relevant topics, gather internal input, write or review copy, coordinate any graphic output and ensure continuity in communication.
Website and digital content coordination
Manage and coordinate updates to the corporate website content, liaising with the web agency, suppliers, internal contacts and the Group Marketing management where necessary. The candidate will not be responsible for the technical development of the website, but will oversee its structure, copy, updates, content, images, news and the overall consistency of digital communication.
Agency and external supplier coordination
Manage the operational relationship with the communication agency, graphic designers, web developers, printers, photographers, videomakers, stand builders, merchandising suppliers and other external partners. The candidate will prepare briefs, provide content and instructions, monitor progress, coordinate reviews and approvals, and check the quality, timing and consistency of the materials produced.
Sales and institutional materials
Coordinate the production and updating of brochures, presentations, service sheets, flyers, trade fair materials, templates and other communication tools. The responsibility will mainly concern content and management: defining what to communicate, gathering information, writing or reviewing copy, coordinating external graphic production and checking the final result.
Events, trade fairs and company initiatives
Coordinate marketing and communication activities related to events, trade fairs, webinars, sponsorships and company initiatives. The candidate will plan content, materials, suppliers, merchandising, stand set-ups, pre- and post-event communication, internal briefings and follow-up.
Brand identity and communication consistency
Ensure the correct application of the corporate identity across all touchpoints: website, social media, sales materials, presentations, events, gadgets, newsletters and external communications. The candidate will ensure consistency between the company’s specific identity and the communication and positioning guidelines defined at Group level.
Reporting and KPIs
Monitor the performance of marketing and communication activities, collecting data from digital channels, the website, campaigns, events and suppliers. The candidate will prepare periodic reports for company management and the Group Marketing management, highlighting activities carried out, results achieved, issues, opportunities and proposals for improvement. By way of example, the main indicators monitored may include:
- traffic, engagement and conversions on the website and social media;
- number and quality of contacts/leads generated;
- participation in and return from industry events, trade fairs and conferences;
- visibility and positioning in public tenders, where relevant.
Requirements
The ideal candidate has experience in marketing and corporate communication roles, preferably in B2B, technical, engineering, industrial or consulting contexts. We require:
- excellent writing, summarising and editing skills;
- the ability to turn technical content into clear, communicable messages;
- experience in managing content for websites, social media and corporate materials;
- the ability to manage agencies and external suppliers;
- the ability to write briefs and coordinate review processes;
- the ability to liaise with management, technical staff and external partners;
- strategic vision and operational skills;
- a graphic sensibility and attention to visual consistency, even without hands-on design skills;
- good organisational and prioritisation skills;
- attention to detail;
- good knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and collaboration tools;
- good knowledge of English.
Personal skills
We are looking for an autonomous, precise and proactive person, able to lead the company’s communication and marketing area with an overall vision.
It is essential to be able to talk with technical profiles, understand specialist content and turn it into effective communication, while coordinating suppliers, deadlines, materials and priorities. The candidate must also be able to work within a group, balancing the company’s specific needs with the overall consistency of communication defined at corporate level.
