GeoForce One
ASDEA developed the custom software GeoForce One for Kerakoll. The two companies have a long history of successful collaboration on many different kinds of projects. GeoForce One provides advanced and comprehensive tools to design and analyse reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, timber and masonry structural elements, and is used by more than 10,000 users.
With GeoForce One, users design and analyse reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete elements. The software also analyses timber and masonry cross-sections with standard and generic shapes, and can model and analyse various structural elements: reinforced concrete beams and columns, beam-column joints, masonry walls, lintels, arches and vaults.
Features:
- Cross-section definition: cross-sections with a standard shape (rectangular or circular) or a generic shape through an integrated CAD environment, with steel rebars, flexural, shear, confinement and torsional strengthening systems, reinforced jacketing and load cases.
- Cross-section analysis: combined biaxial bending and axial force checks, checks of the initial state before the strengthening system is applied, SLS, ULS, confinement, shear and torsion checks. For RC cross-sections, the concrete constitutive model accounts for the confinement effect.
- Viewing and exporting results: detailed reports, summary of the materials and strengthening systems used, initial state and SLS checks, ULS checks before and after the application of Kerakoll strengthening systems, 2D and 3D interaction domains and curvature response.
- FEM nonlinear static analysis: definition of loads and boundary conditions, two-stage nonlinear static analysis, beam-column finite element with a fibre cross-section for the numerical integration of the cross-sectional response, nonlinear constitutive models based on plasticity and continuum damage theories.
- Viewing and post-processing: results of each analysis stage, contour plots for nodal, element and section results, stress and strain at each point of the fibre cross-section, material status (elastic, plastic, damaged, cracked, crushed…), usage factors and load-displacement curves.
- Element definition: structural elements modelled with a variable number of cross-sections and locations along the element axis, and modelling of strengthening ribs for arches and vaults.
